Reported by Tikam Shekhawat

Mumbai, 15th October 2024: Bollywood actor Salman Khan has been granted heightened security measures following the murder of his close associate and former Maharashtra minister, Baba Siddique. In response to this tragic event, Khan’s security has been elevated to the Y-plus category, which now includes a police escort vehicle accompanying him during his travels.

This enhanced protection comes amid ongoing threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which has also claimed responsibility for Siddique’s killing. Under the Y-plus security arrangement, Salman Khan is provided with personal security officers and an armed constable skilled in weaponry, ensuring round-the-clock protection.

The Mumbai Police have further bolstered security at Khan’s Panvel farmhouse, deploying personnel both inside and outside the property to monitor the area closely. This fortified security detail aims to safeguard the actor amid escalating concerns for his safety.
