Three Lives Lost In Devastating Fire At Mumbai’s Lokhandwala Complex
Mumbai, 16th October 2024: A devastating fire claimed the lives of three individuals at a building in Mumbai’s Lokhandwala Complex on Wednesday. According to a civic official, the blaze erupted around 8 a.m. on the 10th floor of the Riya Palace building, situated on 4th Cross Road in the Andheri area.
Three people sustained injuries and were rushed to Cooper Hospital, where doctors declared them dead on arrival, the official added.
The victims have been identified as Chandraprakash Soni (74), Kanta Soni (74), and Pelubeta (42), civic authorities confirmed.
The fire was brought under control by around 9 AM, a fire department official reported. The exact cause of the incident is still under investigation, the official noted.
