Actor Satish Kaushik Cremated On Thursday Amid Loved Ones
Mumbai, 10th March 2023: Satish Kaushik, an actor-director who died after suffering a heart attack, was cremated on Thursday as his loved ones said their final goodbyes.
In the presence of his family and close friends, including Bollywood actor Anupam Kher, lyricist Javed Akhtar, and several B-town superstars, the filmmaker’s final rituals were performed at the Versova cremation in Mumbai at about 8:30 p.m.
Early on Thursday morning, the 66-year-old passed suddenly while travelling to a hospital in Gurugram. In Delhi, Kaushik started to feel uncomfortable during Holi celebrations. He had a heart attack as he was travelling. The physicians tried to revive him, but they were unable to do so.
The actor’s body was flown to Mumbai after the post-mortem at Delhi’s Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital. At roughly 6.30 p.m., his remains were transported to his Versova home in Mumbai, according to news source PTI.
