Mumbai: Temporary Traffic Changes Announced Before One Day Match

Mumbai, 17th March 2023: In advance of the India vs Australia One-Day International cricket match on 17th March, the Mumbai Traffic Police announced traffic restrictions near Wankhede Stadium in south Mumbai on Thursday.
The Mumbai Traffic Police announced that on 17th March 2023, the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai will host India v. Australia One Day Cricket match. Traffic in the region could become backed up as many onlookers are anticipated to arrive in cars.
The Mumbai Traffic Police’s Gaurav Singh, DCP, issued the announcement.
Temporary traffic restrictions are in effect to prevent blockage and public inconvenience and include the following:
From 8:00 a.m. until 11:55 p.m. on 17th March, parking is prohibited on the roadways listed below.
North side of C Road from its intersection with N.S. Road to its intersection with E Road.
From its intersection with N.S. Road up until its intersection with E Road.
E Road from the D Road/C Road intersection to the latter.
From the intersection of N.S. Road and H Road, take F Road.
The south side of G Road from its intersection with N.S. Road to its intersection with H Road.
H Road from the intersection of F Road and G Road.
N.S. Road from Mafatlal Bath Signal to Air India Junction, heading south and north.
From its intersection with N.S. Road (Marine Drive) and in the direction of the intersection of E and C Roads, D Road should be one way (from West to East) for vehicular traffic.
From its intersection with E Road towards its intersection with N.S. Road, C Road should be one way (from east to west) for vehicular traffic (Marine Drive).
For all sorts of vehicular traffic, E Road must be one-way (southbound) from the intersection with D’ Road to the intersection with C Road.
