Mumbai: Fire Breaks Out In Kandivali’s Veena Santoor Building, Claims Two Lives
Kandivali, 24th October 2023: Tragedy struck the Veena Santoor building in Kandivali, Mumbai, as a fire broke out around 12:30 PM yesterday, resulting in the loss of two lives. A quick response from the fire brigade helped contain the blaze, although the exact cause remains unknown.
Sources indicate that the fire originated in the Veena Santoor building, situated in Mahaveer Nagar, Kandivali West, Mumbai, at 12:27 PM on the previous day. The fire primarily affected the ground and first floors of the building, which is adjacent to the famous Sachin Tendulkar Cricket Academy.
Initially, reports suggested that three individuals, including an elderly woman and a young child, sustained severe injuries during the fire. However, it has since been confirmed that two additional casualties occurred. The injured individuals are presently receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
Meanwhile, a few days ago in Goregaon too, many people died in a similar fire accident in a residential building.
