Diljit Dosanjh Receives Heartfelt Tribute from Mumbai’s Dabbawalas Ahead of Performance
Mumbai, 18th December 2024: Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh, who is scheduled to perform in Mumbai on Thursday, received a special welcome from the city’s renowned dabbawalas on Wednesday.
The dabbawalas, an essential part of Mumbai’s food culture, have long been more than just delivery workers. They are considered cultural ambassadors, carrying the spirit of the city in every meal they deliver.
On Wednesday, the dabbawalas donned Diljit’s signature kurta, chadra, jacket, and gloves, as they made their way through some of Mumbai’s iconic locations.
Diljit expressed his gratitude for the gesture, saying, “I’m truly humbled by the warm welcome from Mumbai’s dabbawalas. Diljit is set to perform in Mumbai on Thursday as part of his Dil-Luminati concert, produced by Saregama Live & Ripple Effect Studio.
