Flyover Segment Falls on Car in Mumbai’s Andheri, No Injuries Reported

Mumbai, 5th July 2024: On Thursday afternoon, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) reported that a segment of a flyover in Andheri, western Mumbai, fell onto a moving car near Gundavali metro rail station on the Western Express Highway at 3:20 pm. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from the incident.

The falling slab damaged the front part of the car’s bonnet. Following the incident, relief efforts were swiftly initiated with the deployment of fire brigade, police, and personnel from the local ward office to the scene, according to BMC.
