Global Vectra Helicopter Crashes En Route from Mumbai to Hyderabad Due to Technical Malfunction

Mumbai, 24th August 2024: On August 24, a private helicopter crashed near Paud village in Maharashtra’s Pune district. The helicopter, operated by a private aviation firm, was en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad when the accident occurred.
According to SP Pankaj Deshmukh of the Pune Rural Police, the helicopter carried four passengers, all of whom sustained injuries. The pilot has been hospitalized, while the other three passengers are reported to be in stable condition.
The helicopter, owned by Global Vectra in Mumbai, is believed to have crashed due to a technical malfunction exacerbated by weather conditions. The Pune Rural Police have launched an investigation into the incident.
Residents witnessed the crash and promptly assisted. The Paud police station dispatched a team to the scene after receiving notifications from the villagers.
