Exciting Times Ahead: Vande Bharat Express to Revolutionize Mumbai-Goa Rail Travel In 7 Hours

Jalna-Mumbai, 28th December 2023: The much-anticipated Jalna Mumbai Vande Bharat Express is set to embark on its inaugural journey on December 30, as confirmed by Minister of State in the Ministry of Railways, Raosaheb Danve. The train, equipped with eight coaches, is poised to enhance connectivity between Jalna and Mumbai, reducing travel time and providing a boost for business and tourism.

Speaking to reporters at Jalna, Raosaheb Danve outlined the schedule for the Vande Bharat Express, emphasizing the benefits it brings to passengers. The train is scheduled to depart from Jalna railway station at 5:05 AM and will make stops at Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Manmad, Nashik, Thane, and finally Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), Mumbai.

The inaugural run of the Vande Bharat Express is slated to commence at 11 AM from Jalna, with State Minister Raosaheb Danve flagging off the train. The journey is expected to be completed in 6 hours and 50 minutes, providing a faster and more efficient rail connection between Jalna and Mumbai.

The train’s schedule includes stops at major stations, with a 2-minute halt at each station, ensuring a timely and convenient journey for passengers. The return journey from Mumbai to Jalna is scheduled to depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 1:10 PM, reaching Jalna at 8:30 PM.
