Pradeep Narkar, Assistant General Secretary of the Municipal Mazdoor Union, stated, “We request that employees receive their salaries and other due concessions from the BMC on time.” He also noted that a ₹5,000 Diwali bonus announced six months ago by the Chief Minister and Municipal Commissioner has yet to be disbursed.
