Mumbai: 10th Standard Student Dies By Suicide Due To Fear Of Failure

Mumbai, 17th March 2023: A 15-year-old boy died by suicide after he hung himself at home in the Chembur area on Thursday due to the difficulty of the papers of some subjects in the class 10 examination. It is believed that the boy took the step because he was afraid of failure. The Chembur police have registered a case of accidental death and started an investigation.

The boy lived in the Vijay Nagar area of Chembur. The 15-year-old found some of his 10th board examination papers difficult and became afraid of failure. As a result, he was under stress for a few days. His mother had gone out on Thursday night. At that time, the young boy hung himself in the house. After some time, the mother returned home. As the house was locked from the inside, she called her son, but he did not respond. Finally, with the help of neighbours, the door was broken. The 15-year-old was found hanged this time. As soon as the information about the incident came to light, the Chembur police registered a case of death and started an investigation.
