Mumbai: Amrit Mahatosav To Be Commemorated At Gateway Of India On 28th February

Mumbai, 26th February 2023: The Amrit Mahotsav of India’s independence and the completion of 75 years of the British army’s exit from India will be commemorated at the Gateway of India on Tuesday, 28th February, at 8 p.m., according to Mangal Prabhat Lodha, the minister of tourism for Maharashtra.

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOC), the Union Ministry for Petroleum and Natural Gas (MoPNG), and the State Government’s Tourism Department, together, arranged this event.

Eknath Shinde, the chief minister of Maharashtra, Hardeep Singh Puri, the Minister of Petroleum and Natural Gas, and Devendra Fadnavis, the deputy chief minister, will inaugurate the initiative, according to Lodha.

Several programmes, including the “Light and Sound” show, are being organised to commemorate India’s 75th anniversary of independence. The show will air on Saturday and Sunday twice a week during the first week. This programme is centred on the progressive-India idea and Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. During the programme, the emphasis would be placed on Maharashtra’s role in the Indian Independence movement.

Rahul Narvekar, speaker of the state legislature, Deepak Kesarkar, minister of education, Arvind Sawant, principal secretary of the tourist department, Saurabh Vijay, chairman of Indian Oil, Srikanth Madhav Vaidya, and V Satish Kumar, director of marketing for Indian Oil, will all speak on the occasion.
