Mumbai: Burglary at Actress Supyarde Singh’s Malad Home; Police Nab Two, Recover Revolver
Mumbai, 18th November 2025: The Mumbai Crime Branch (Unit 12) and Dindoshi Police have arrested two men in connection with a burglary at the COD Malad East Army Camp residence of actress Supyarde Singh. The incident took place on November 1 and involved the theft of a licensed firearm, ammunition, jewellery and cash.
Police said the actress had kept a licensed
revolver, nine live cartridges, silver ornaments and ₹3 lakh in cash at her home inside the high-security COD Army camp. The accused allegedly trespassed into the restricted zone, broke into the house in broad daylight and fled with the valuables.
Based on intelligence inputs, Crime Branch teams tracked the suspects’ movements, identified their unauthorised entry into the Army camp and apprehended both accused. A juvenile linked to the offence has also been detained.
An FIR has been registered at Dindoshi Police Station under Sections 305(A) and 331(3) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS). A joint investigation by the Crime Branch and Dindoshi Police, supported by technical analysis and informers’ inputs, helped crack the case.
Police recovered the actress’s revolver, nine live cartridges and 480 grams of silver jewellery during the operation. The arrested individuals have been handed over to Dindoshi Police for further legal procedures.
The actress thanked Mumbai Police for solving the case and recovery of the Valuables.
