Mumbai-London Air India Flight Makes Emergency Return After Technical Problem

Mumbai, 14th August 2024: An Air India flight bound for London that took off from Mumbai on Wednesday morning with 354 passengers was forced to return to the city after the pilot reported a cabin pressurization issue.
The Boeing 777 aircraft, which had left Mumbai at 8:36 a.m., landed safely back in the city around 11:30 a.m. due to a technical problem.
According to an Air India statement, “The flight from Mumbai to London was turned back to Mumbai due to a technical issue. The aircraft landed safely for precautionary checks.” The airline added that alternative arrangements have been made to ensure passengers reach their destination.
Air India has offered full refunds for cancellations and complimentary rescheduling for passengers who wish to change their travel dates.
