Mumbai: Mother And Son Abducted And Molested Young Woman Over Unpaid Financial Settlement

Borivali, 13th October 2023: A mother and her son, identified as Paras, also known as Parshu Tanaji Kale, and Yesubai Tanaji Kale, have been apprehended by Borivali police in connection with the alleged abduction and molestation of a woman in Borivali. Following a preliminary investigation, it was revealed that the incident stemmed from a financial dispute.

Reportedly, the husband of the complainant woman, residing in Borivali, had borrowed a sum of thirty thousand rupees from the accused parties. When the borrowed amount could not be repaid, a dispute ensued between the involved parties over a period of several days.

In light of this dispute, Paras and his mother, Yesubai, allegedly carried out the kidnapping of the woman from Borivali on October 3 and took her to Pune. There, she purportedly suffered both physical and verbal abuse at their hands. Meanwhile, Paras molested her by behaving obscenely with her, and the victim’s husband was reportedly subjected to threats of dire consequences if the outstanding loan was not promptly settled.

Upon her eventual release from captivity, the victim promptly reported the harrowing incident to the Borivali police, subsequently lodging a formal complaint against both Paras and Yesubai. A case was promptly registered against the accused individuals, encompassing charges of kidnapping, assault, molestation, and issuing threats. Subsequently, both the accused mother and son were taken into police custody.
