Mumbai: Notorious Thief Was Apprehended By Police After Multiple Heists In Mumbai; Search For His Mates Continues

Khar, 4th August 2023: In a significant breakthrough, the Khar police in Mumbai have apprehended a 40-year-old man, identified as Kishor Pawar, alias Bunty, who has been involved in more than 60 criminal cases across the city. The Chembur police had been actively looking after him in connection with two recent burglary cases in the area.

A resident of Titwala, Bunty has already been charged with 60 cases of various crimes in the city. Prior to his recent arrest, he had been deported from the city three times in the past.

The latest incident that led to his arrest was related to a theft case in Khar West, where Bunty was caught stealing valuable things from neighbouring houses. Learning of his notorious activities, Police Sub-Inspector Hanumant Kumbhare and other dedicated investigation personnel vigilantly apprehended Bunty. During his arrest, multiple counterfeit keys were found in his possession, which were allegedly intended for breaking into homes in the area.

As per police information, Bunty is believed to be a member of a notorious gang suspected of being behind a staggering 35 burglaries in the Khar region alone. While he is presently in police custody, authorities are actively seeking information from him about his associates and the locations where these crimes were carried out.
