Mumbai: Police Apprehend Machete-Wielding Perpetrator Creating Panic In Mulund

Mulund, 26th August 2023: In a recent incident that sent shockwaves through Mulund’s Ambika Nagar area, a menacing individual armed with a machete and a knife attempted to spread fear among rickshaw drivers and shopkeepers. However, the prompt response of the Mulund police averted a potential mishap as they swiftly arrived at the scene and apprehended the perpetrator.

The unnerving episode unfolded on a Friday night when the unidentified assailant embarked on a spree of terror, wielding both a machete and a knife. He menacingly accosted shop owners and rickshaw drivers standing nearby. Shockingly, the perpetrator launches a brutal attack on two people who were passing by on the road, leaving them injured.

Without delay, the residents of Ambika Nagar alerted the Mulund police about the unfolding chaos, recognising the urgency of the situation. Responding urgently, the law enforcement officers swarmed the area, successfully containing the situation before it escalated further. With the immediate intervention, the Mulund police managed to apprehend the individual without any further harm to the public.

The police are now investigating the reason behind the accused’s action, such as whether he was under the influence of alcohol, etc.
