Mumbai Police Extends Preventive Measures Till Mid-April
 
                Mumbai, 14th March 2023: On Monday, Mumbai Police extended their citywide preventative measures until 14th April. The police stated in the order that terrorist or anti-national elements will likely target VVIPS using drones, remote-controlled micro-light aircraft, and paragliders, endangering public safety, destroying property, and upsetting law and order in the Brihanmumbai Police Commissionerate area.
The preventive order further stated that to stop potential sabotage using paragliders, drones, and remote-controlled microlight aircraft, it is now necessary to impose various restrictions on the operations of these individuals throughout the Brihanmumbai Police Commissionerate.
For the next 30 days, from 16th March 2023 to 14th April 2023, no flying activities, including those involving drones, remote-controlled micro-light aircraft, paragliders, paramotors, hand-gliders, hot air balloons, or others, shall be permitted within the jurisdiction of the Brihanmumbai Police Commissionerate, with the exception of aerial surveillance by the Mumbai Police or with the express written permission of the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations), Brihanmumbai.
