Mumbai: Police Officer Injured in Dahisar West After Falling into Nullah During Investigation
Mumbai, 9th October 2024: A police officer was seriously injured after accidentally falling into a nullah at Dahisar West while investigating on Monday. Sub-Inspector Mukesh Kharat, who is affiliated with the MHB Colony Police Station, was hospitalized for treatment.
The incident occurred after the MHB Colony Police received a report about a body discovered in a nullah near the railway tracks in Dahisar West. While investigating the scene, Kharat lost his footing and fell into the nullah, which contained sharp rocks and water. Colleagues rescued him, but due to the severity of his injuries, he was transferred to a private hospital for further care.
