Mumbai: Railway Extends LTT-Gorakhpur Trains to Gonda and Azamgarh Temporarily
Mumbai, 27 June 2025: In response to ongoing work at Gorakhpur, Central Railway has announced the temporary extension of two Gorakhpur-bound trains to Gonda and Azamgarh. These changes, effective immediately, will continue until the specified dates in December 2025.
LTT-Gorakhpur-LTT Godan Express Extended to Gonda
Train no. 11055, originally running from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) to Gorakhpur, will now terminate at Gonda. The modified schedule for the train is as follows:
- Departure from LTT: 10:55 hrs
- Arrival at Gonda: 23:00 hrs (next day)
Train no. 11056, which would normally depart from Gorakhpur, will now start from Gonda until further notice. The updated timings for this train are:
- Departure from Gonda: 03:10 hrs
- Arrival at LTT: 15:30 hrs (next day)
This extension is in effect until 7th December 2025.
LTT-Gorakhpur-LTT Superfast Express Extended to Azamgarh
Similarly, the LTT-Gorakhpur-LTT Superfast Express (Train no. 20103) will now be extended to Azamgarh. The updated schedule is as follows:
- Departure from LTT: 05:23 hrs
- Arrival at Azamgarh: 15:15 hrs (next day)
The return train, no. 20104, will now depart from Azamgarh instead of Gorakhpur, with the following schedule:
- Departure from Azamgarh: 18:50 hrs
- Arrival at LTT: 04:35 hrs (third day)
This extension will continue until 5th December 2025 for Train no. 20103 and 6th December 2025 for Train no. 20104.
