Mumbai University Offers Online Application Process for Revaluation and Shadow Copy Requests

Mumbai, 6th June 2023: Mumbai University recently announced the results for various courses in the academic year 2022-23 summer session. However, several students are still awaiting the results of certain courses, while others have encountered numerous errors in the declared results. This has caused significant inconvenience and distress among the student community.
In response, the Board of Examinations and Evaluation of Mumbai University has clarified the process for applying for revaluation and shadow copy, along with the respective fees, through the university’s official website http://www.mu.ac.in.
To access the application for revaluation and shadow copy, students should visit the official website http://www.mu.ac.in and navigate to the ‘Examination’ option. From there, they can submit their applications and proceed to pay the required fees. Upon payment, students must click on the ‘Send Anyway’ option and ensure that they receive an acknowledgment for their application to be considered valid. In case of any difficulties while filling out the application form, students are advised to contact the re-evaluation and shadow copy room located in the Kalina complex between 11 am and 3 pm, before the relevant examination link on the website is closed.
The link for revaluation and shadow copy applications will be activated within the next seven days following the declaration of results. Students are then required to complete the application process within the subsequent 12 days. It is crucial to note that the university will not accept applications submitted after the deadline. The application fees for open category students include an online and offline application fee of Rs.10, a revaluation fee of Rs.250, and a shadow copy fee of Rs.50. For students belonging to the reserved category, the fees are Rs.10 for the application, Rs.150 for revaluation, and Rs.25 for a shadow copy.
