Mumbai: Vaitrana Aqueduct Repair Work to be carried out from Thursday to Friday Due to Water Leakage
Mumbai, 2nd January 2024: A leakage has been observed on cross connection of 900mm Ø cross connection between Upper Vaitarna and Vaitarna main near Powai Ventury AEOC(tm). Staff has tried to repair the same, however it was not possible. In order to repair the same, isolation of Vaitarna mains from Equalisation point Bhandup Complex to Maroshi Tunnel is required.
The repair work is proposed to be taken on Thursday 04.01.2024 from 10.00 am to Friday 05.01.2024, 10.00 am i.e for 24 hrs. Thus following areas will be affected
