Mumbai: Various Programs Organised By Multiple Parties For Marathi Language Day

Mumbai, 26th February 2023: The birthday of Vishnū Vāman Shirwādkar, famously known by pen-name Kusumagraj, 27th February, is celebrated as Marathi Language Day. Various programs have been organized on the occasion of Marathi Language Day every year.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has organized a book exhibition at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Park, Dadar and Yamunatai Hirlekar Chowk, Matunga, from 25th to 27th February. This exhibition will be open for all from 10 am to 9 pm. More than 10 thousand books from one thousand famous publishers will be available in the exhibition.

Vileparle Cultural Center has organized a program ‘Hrudaya Sohala’ at Dinanath Mangeshkar Theater, Vile Parle, on 27th February at 7 pm. On this occasion, actress Madhura Velankar-Satum’s ‘Madhurav’, as well as dance, poetry and acting, will be held. Marathi Language Department Minister Deepak Kesarkar will be present as the chief guest at this event.

Marathi language honour day will be celebrated by Mumbai BJP on 27th February at 5 pm at Maratha Mandal Auditorium, Mulund East. On this occasion, Swaratrang, a program of Marathi songs, will be organised. Ramesh Shirke, Yogacharya Krishnaji Korti, Sukrit Khandekar, Dr Kushal Sawant, Dr Rohan Pradhan, and Kumar Sohoni will be felicitated on this occasion. BJP Mumbai President Adv. Ashish Shelar, MP Manoj Kotak, and MLA Mihir Kotecha will be present.
