Mumbai: Western Railway Schedules 12-Hour Mega Block For Bridge Work On 16th-17th November
Mumbai, 15th November 2024: The Western Railway announced a 12-hour mega block scheduled for November 16th and 17th to facilitate bridge work between Jogeshwari and Goregaon stations in Mumbai. The block will be effective from 11:30 pm on November 16th until 11:30 am the following day, impacting both UP and DOWN slow lines and Harbour lines.
According to the release, all slow-line trains will operate on fast lines between Andheri and Goregaon/Borivali stations, with Ram Mandir station being bypassed due to unavailable platforms during the block. Additionally, all Harbour line services from Central Railway and select slow services between Churchgate and Goregaon/Borivali will terminate at Andheri.
The release also noted that mail and express trains on the route will face delays of 10 to 20 minutes due to the block.
