Nigerian Nationals Nabbed in Kharghar with Drugs Worth Rs 1.3 Crore
Mumbai, 28th July 2023: Navi Mumbai Police successfully arrested four Nigerian nationals, among them two women, on Wednesday night at a rental residence located in Sector 12, Kharghar. The accused were found in possession of drugs with an estimated street value of Rs 1.3 crore.
The individuals apprehended have been identified as Egbulen Benjamin Sunday (42), Sibanda Jonathan Benin (35), Ikanoba Emmakhivella Ctold (22), and Favour George (23).
During the arrest, a gripping scene unfolded as 3-4 policemen struggled to control and overpower one of the accused. In a bid to prevent any escape attempt, the officers securely tied the suspect’s limbs using a nylon rope.
Further investigations are underway, and the suspects will face charges in accordance with the law to ensure justice is served.
