Over 5000 Families Join Hands for K Raheja Corp Homes’ ‘WE WILL’ Charity Drive

Mumbai, 28th October 2024: K Raheja Corp Homes, the residential arm of K Raheja Corp, has successfully wrapped up the second edition of its community-driven ‘WE WILL’ initiative. This year’s drive, part of the company’s larger ‘Royalty’ program, saw enthusiastic participation from over 5000 families across major cities including Mumbai, Pune, and Hyderabad.
The initiative collected more than 750 clothing items, 550 books, and 200 toys, all of which were distributed to marginalized communities through partnerships with NGOs like Goonj, OM Creations Trust, and Ashray-Akruti.
Residents from Raheja Vihar in Chandivali, Raheja Vistas Premiere, and Raheja Viva in Pune, as well as Raheja Vistas in Hyderabad, came together to contribute generously. In addition to the donation drive, a special exhibition showcasing handmade festive décor by children and adults with special needs was organized, further highlighting the spirit of inclusion and support.
Ashish Dhami, Chief of Sales, Marketing, and Product Design, expressed his pride in the initiative’s success, saying, “The outpouring of support from our residents has been heartwarming. From young children to senior citizens, everyone came forward to contribute in whatever way they could. The level of generosity and community spirit we witnessed is truly inspiring, and we’re honored to have made a tangible impact on the lives of those less fortunate.”
He further added, “This initiative reflects our commitment not only to providing homes but to creating a sense of community and responsibility. We are thrilled that this year’s drive exceeded expectations, and we hope to continue this tradition of giving back.”
The ‘WE WILL’ initiative, which took place over the course of a week, saw the highest level of contributions from Mumbai, with Pune and Hyderabad following closely. The partner NGOs reported that the donations reached a wide spectrum of beneficiaries, including children, adults, and the elderly, providing much-needed support to vulnerable groups.
