Prompt Response Of Malabar Hill Police Recovered Woman’s Missing Jewellery Bag Worth Rs 3.5 Lakh

Malabar Hill, 25th July 2023: The Malabar Hill Police successfully recovered a bag containing expensive jewellery worth Rs 3.5 lakh within an hour of the complaint being lodged. The owner of the jewellery, identified as Rupa Zaveri, expressed her gratitude to the police for their promptness and swift action.

According to the information, Rupa Zaveri, a resident of Malabar Hill, had taken a taxi on Monday morning to reach Sikka Nagar from her home. After alighting from the taxi, she discovered that she had left her bag, containing a valuable necklace, earrings, and ornamental bangles, inside the taxi. She tried to find that taxi, but she could not find it. Frantic and unable to find the taxi, she immediately rushed to the Malabar Hill Police Station to file a complaint.

Promptly responding to her complaint, Senior Police Inspector of the Malabar Hill Police Station, Uday Singh Shingade, immediately called the cyber team of the police station and asked them to investigate the matter with the help of CCTV cameras. Working in tandem with the team, they managed to trace and contact the taxi driver.

Cooperating with the police, the taxi driver willingly came to the police station with the bag. After ensuring that all necessary procedures were completed and verifying the contents of the bag, the police handed it over to the woman. Due to the promptness shown by the police, the woman got her bag within an hour. The woman thanked the police for their promptness.
