Pune: Lonavla Skywalk Project Secures Rs 333.56 Crore Allocation In State Budget

Pune, 28th February 2024: The much-anticipated Lonavla skywalk project has received a significant allocation of Rs 333.56 crore in the state budget, fulfilling the demand put forth by the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA). Set to be completed by June 2026, the project will be executed in Kurvande village, Lonavla, covering an expansive 15-hectare area.
The comprehensive development plan incorporates the construction of a 90-meter-long, 6-meter-wide bridge, strategically connecting Lions and Tiger points. Additionally, an independent feature of the project includes a 125-meter-long, 6-meter-wide glass skywalk, offering a unique and exhilarating experience for visitors.
With a projected completion date of June 2026, the Lonavla skywalk is poised to become a prominent landmark, providing not only a breathtaking view but also a boost to the local economy.
