Hinjawadi, 2nd March 2024: Rama Fusion Towers, a society situated in Hinjawadi Phase 3, is currently grappling with a series of challenges, extending beyond water issues. Residents are reporting difficulties not only with water supply but also with electricity, amenities, and security concerns.

The situation is exacerbated by the fact that the builder, Rama Group, is allegedly making false promises, leaving residents frustrated and dissatisfied. This predicament has persisted for the past two days, and according to the residents, it is not the first occurrence of such problems, indicating a recurring pattern of issues with the builder’s commitments.

Today, the residents of Fusion Towers society in Hinjawadi organized a protest, with society members prominently displaying banners expressing their dissatisfaction with the treatment they are currently enduring. The banners carried slogans that directly addressed the myriad issues confronting the residents of Fusion Towers, serving as a visible expression of their concerns.

It’s worth noting that Hinjawadi is not under the jurisdiction of either the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) or the Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). In some societies, the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) is responsible for providing basic facilities. However, in the case of many societies, residents rely on independent builders to furnish them with the essential amenities, adding a layer of complexity to the challenges faced by Fusion Towers and similar communities.

The residents of Fusion Towers have taken a proactive step by submitting a complaint letter to the relevant management at Rama Group, addressing the inadequacies in the supply of necessities to their society. In the letter, residents highlighted the critical issues related to water, citing insufficiency, impurity, and frequent disruptions in the supply as major concerns. The residents expressed deep frustration over the essential commodity of water not being consistently provided to them.

Furthermore, the letter emphasized the potential dangers posed by this situation, particularly for vulnerable members of society such as senior citizens, patients, and children. The residents are urging the management to promptly address these pressing issues to ensure the well-being and safety of all Fusion Towers residents.

A resident from the Fusion Towers society conveyed to Punekar News, “The challenges we’re encountering are critical. Our primary expectation is a reliable supply of water and other essential services to our housing society. It’s noteworthy that Rama Group manages another project in the same Phase 3 area, called Rama Melange Residences. In that project, they source water from Maan Hinjawadi MIDC, and the water supply remains consistently reliable. If the builder finds it challenging to ensure consistent water supply for our society, we request them to engage with MIDC once again on our behalf and ask the MIDC to supply the water to us.”

Punekar News made attempts to reach out to the management of Rama Group for comments on the ongoing issues. However, as of now, they have not been available to respond.
