Pune: Security Guard Reports 3.5 Lakh Theft at Hinjawadi Metro Station

Hinjawadi, 27th February 2024: A theft of materials valued at 3.5 lakhs occurred at a metro station on Hinjawadi Road, specifically at Shivaji Chowk in Hinjawadi. A case has been officially lodged at the Hinjawadi police station, encompassing incidents spanning a one-year duration from December 29, 2023, to January 29, 2024.
In this particular incident, Shrikrishna Madhavrao Khapke, a 24-year-old security guard residing in Mhalunge, complained to the Hinjawadi Police Station. A case has been formally registered against an unidentified thief in connection with the reported theft.
As per the police report, items valued at Rs 3,60,605 have been reported stolen from the stretch between PMR 5 Wipro Chowk to PMR 7 Shivaji Chowk of Pune Metro Line Three. Hinjawadi Police have officially registered a case, and efforts are underway as the police are actively searching for the individuals responsible for the theft.
