Relief for Pune Commuters: PMPML Launches Circular Bus Route from PMC to Cipla Center

Pune, 4th March 2024: A new circular bus route was introduced on Saturday (2nd) from the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) – Congress Bhawan – Rahul Park (Warje) – Aditya Garden City (Warje) – Cipla Center (Warje) – Congress Bhawan – PMC. This initiative is expected to bring significant relief to commuters in the Cipla Center area.

The inauguration of the bus service took place at Cipla Center, with Dr. Sanjay Kolte, Chairman and Managing Director of Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML), and former PMC Leader of Opposition Dipali Dhumal jointly flagging off the bus service. The event was attended by Baba Dhumal, President of Senior Citizen Sangh Nand Kumar Bodhai, PMPML Chief Transport Manager (Operation) Satish Gavane, Labor and Public Relations Officer Satish Gate, Kothrud Depot Manager Rajendra Gajare, and Kothrud Depot Engineer Vikas Mate.

The newly introduced circular bus route, Route No. 80, will operate on the following path: PMC – Congress Bhavan – Rahul Park – Aditya Garden City – Cipla Center – Congress Bhavan – PMC. Throughout the day, a total of 8 bus trips will be made on this route, with the first bus departing at 8:10 am and the last one at 10:30 pm for the circular route from PMC to Cipla Center and back to PMC.

Officials and dignitaries of PMPML have encouraged and urged commuters to make the most of the PMC – Cipla Center – PMC circular bus service. The introduction of this route aims to provide convenient transportation options for residents and workers in the Cipla Center area.
