Speeding Car Rams Multiple Vehicles in Mulund; Mumbai Police Arrest Driver

Mumbai, 5th April 2025: A speeding car crashed into six to seven vehicles in Mumbai’s Mulund area on Sunday night, leading to the immediate arrest of the driver after a police pursuit. The incident occurred around 8 PM in the Vaishali Nagar locality, when 26-year-old Karan Mohite lost control of his car and struck a metal pole. Police officers nearby responded to the loud crash and attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver accelerated and fled.

Suspecting foul play, Mulund police chased the car as the driver continued to hit more vehicles and headed toward the Eastern Express Highway. The pursuit ended in the Vikhroli area, where officers apprehended the driver. Upon investigation, police found that Mohite was not under the influence of alcohol. Although six to seven vehicles were damaged, none of the affected vehicle owners had filed complaints at the police station at the time of reporting. Authorities are continuing their investigation, as the number of damaged vehicles may increase.
