Thane Crime Investigation Branch Probes Alleged Rave Party at Kasarvadavali Police Station
Thane, 4th January 2024: The Thane Crime Investigation Branch has uncovered details of a rave party allegedly organized within the premises of the Kasarvadavali Police Station. The station, marred by recent incidents of beatings and murders, now faces scrutiny as questions arise about the affairs within its confines.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Amar Singh Jadhav has initiated an inquiry into the matter, intensifying the challenges faced by the officers at Kasarvadavali Police Station. The revelation of a rave party within the station premises has cast a shadow over the station’s reputation, already under public scrutiny for recent criminal incidents.
Despite Chief Minister Eknath Shinde’s directive for strict action against drug traffickers, a rave party unfolded on the eve of New Year’s Eve at a secluded spot along the bay in the Kasarvadavali area of Ghodbunder. The Crime Investigation Branch intervened, detaining 95 youths and arresting two individuals. The incident has raised questions about the station’s awareness and preparedness.
The Kasarvadavali Police Station has been under scrutiny in recent months following incidents such as a vehicular attempt to harm Ashwajit Gaikwad, son of the managing director of the State Road Development Corporation (MSRDC). The triple murder at Ghodbunder also brought attention to the station’s effectiveness, prompting ongoing concerns about crimes within its jurisdiction.
Deputy Commissioner Amar Singh Jadhav’s decision to launch an inquiry into the alleged rave party case further compounds the challenges for the Kasarvadavali police station.
