Thane: Two Students Beaten Up For Questioning A Man When He Was Abusing A Girl
Kalyan, 13th March 2023: A young man who was abusing and beating up a girl on the street was asked by two young men why he was beating her. The young man got angry, abused them, called seven to eight of his colleagues to the spot, and brutally beat the young men who asked for answers.
The incident took place on Friday in Mangeshi Paradise, Matoshri College Road of Shahad, near Kalyan. Complainant student Yogesh Manoj Kumar Chaudhary (20) has lodged a complaint against Pranab Konkar, Darshan Konkar and three other unidentified persons in this case. Khadakpada police have registered a case and started an investigation.
Police said complainant Yogesh lives in Mangesh Paradise building near Shahad. After dinner on Friday night, Yogesh and his friend went for a walk. He saw a young man abusing and beating a girl on the street there. Seeing this, Yogesh and his friend asked the young man why he was hitting the girl. Saying that they should not interfere in this fight, the young man called seven to eight of his friends to the spot. They attacked Yogesh and his friend. Yogesh was beaten with a bat. In this chaos, the gold chain around the complainant’s neck, the gold bangle in his hand, and a ring fell on the road. The materials have not been found yet.
