New Delhi and Mumbai Hubs to Streamline Air India’s Intercontinental Travel in 2025

Mumbai, 16th December 2024: Air India has unveiled major enhancements to its international route network, facilitating seamless travel between the East and West through its Delhi and Mumbai hubs. Effective 2025, these changes will streamline flight schedules for key global routes, offering enhanced flexibility for passengers.

The airline will optimize schedules to enable smooth intercontinental travel between North America, Europe, Australia, and Southeast Asia via Delhi and Mumbai. Air India plans to deploy premium aircraft, including retrofitted A350s and B777s, on U.S. and UK routes, while its updated A320neo will operate all Delhi-Bangkok flights starting 16th January 2025. Additionally, a fourth daily Delhi-Bangkok service will launch on 1st January.

Seamless one-stop connections will be available between Bangkok and cities like New York, Chicago, Toronto, Vancouver, London Heathrow, Frankfurt, and Amsterdam through Delhi. Similarly, the Mumbai-Frankfurt, Mumbai-Singapore, and Delhi-Frankfurt routes will feature erstwhile Vistara A321neo and B787-9 aircraft.

These upgraded planes will provide state-of-the-art cabin interiors, fully flat business-class beds, HD inflight entertainment, and onboard WiFi connectivity. From February 2025, daytime and nighttime departures on the Delhi-Frankfurt and Delhi-Paris routes will further enhance connectivity. Retimed daily flights on Delhi-Sydney and Delhi-Melbourne routes will connect Europe and Southeast Asia with Australia via Delhi.

An Air India official confirmed that passengers from London, Paris, and Frankfurt can now access convenient one-stop connections to Sydney, Melbourne, Bangkok, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, and Ho Chi Minh City through Delhi.
