Kalaburagi–Mumbai Special Trains Announced for Mahaparinirvan Divas on 6 December

Mumbai/Solapur, 22 November 2025: Central Railway will run unreserved special trains to facilitate passengers traveling to Mumbai to pay homage to Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar on his Mahaparinirvan Divas on 6 December 2025. The railway administration has released detailed schedules for the special services operating between Kalaburagi and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Mumbai.

Kalburagi–CSMT Mumbai Unreserved Specials

Train No. 01245 will depart Kalaburagi at 18:30 hrs on 05 December (Friday) and reach CSMT Mumbai at 08:20 hrs the next day. The train will arrive at Solapur at 21:40 hrs and depart at 22:20 hrs.

Train No. 01246 will leave CSMT Mumbai at 00:25 hrs on 07 December (Sunday) and arrive in Kalaburagi at 11:30 hrs the same day. It will reach Solapur at 08:45 hrs and depart at 09:00 hrs.

Stoppages for both services include Ganagapur Road, Akkalkot Road, Solapur, Kurduvadi, Daund, Pune, Lonavala, Kalyan, and Dadar.

The train composition will consist of 22 Sleeper Class/General Second Class/Second Sitting coaches operated as unreserved, along with 2 luggage-cum-brake vans, totaling 24 coaches.

Ticketing for unreserved travel is available through station booking counters and the UTS mobile app.

Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Sr. DCM) of Solapur Division, Shri Yogesh Patil, has appealed to passengers to travel with valid tickets and make use of the special services arranged for Mahaparinirvan Divas.
