BJP MP Kangana Ranaut Criticises CJP Youth Movement, Faces Criticism Online

Mumbai, 28th July 2026: Member of Parliament and actress Kangana Ranaut has been making headlines for a series of Instagram stories calling out youth protesters and young women.

Through her social media page, the MP vocalised her take on the youth protests led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), calling the movement and the reels made by Gen Z “puke inducing” and “ugliness in one place.”

The posts drew backlash from demonstrators and people supporting the NEET Leak and Resignation movement. Ranaut’s remarks come after the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

“You call yourselves Cockroaches, and behave like them too. Just subjecting the world with your filth, garbage and ugliness. I am scarred from these reels…” Kangana said in one of the posts.

In another Instagram story, she also spoke about “Westernised Indian Women,” saying they have not earned the independence and freedom they act on. She stated that truly independent women make bold choices and unconventional career moves because they have no one to rely on but themselves.

The Instagram stories have since sparked widespread discussion on social media, with users expressing both support for and criticism of Ranaut’s remarks.
