Mumbai: Another Youngster Dies After Police Recruitment Test
Mumbai, 22nd February 2023: A young man who started feeling unwell after the field test conducted for police recruitment died in a hotel. A case of accidental death has been registered at Mata Ramabai Ambedkar Marg Police Station.
The deceased has been identified as Amar Ashok Solke (24), a resident of Navsari in Amravati. He had come to Mumbai for the police recruitment field test. He was currently staying at the Residency Hotel in the Fort area. After Solke took the field test on Tuesday, he told an acquaintance he was feeling unwell. Then around 5 pm, Solke was taking a bath in the hotel when he vomited and fell unconscious. He was taken to St George Hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead. In this case, the MRA Marg police have registered a case of accidental death after recording the statement of a girl known to Solke.
A 26-year-old man, Ganesh Ugle, who had previously applied for police recruitment, died on Friday. He completed the 1600m test run and collapsed. He died in that. In this case, the Bandra-Kurla complex police have registered an accidental death. Ugle, a native of the Washim district, with other youths, participated in the recruitment process for the constable post in the Mumbai Police Force.
