Thane: Woman Stabbed By Friend Because She Refused To Talk To Him

Dombivli, 15th March 2023: An enraged youth stabbed a young woman in her neck with a sharp object after she refused to speak, seriously injuring her on Sagarli Road in Dombivali East on Tuesday night. After this incident, the attacker ran away.

The name of the complainant is Srishti Mahadik. She studies. Police said Mahadik was walking to her father-in-law’s house at 8:30 on Tuesday night. At that time, she saw her old friend Sagar Bhalekar (25). She continued walking without looking at him. He walked towards her, saying he wanted to talk, which she refused to. He still continued to insist on speaking. Suddenly, an angry Mahadik stabbed her in the neck with a nearby sharp object. She was seriously injured. Police have registered a case at Manpada Police Station based on her complaint.
