Mumbai: Drunken Daredevil Causes Chaos on Railway Tracks Near Kalyan, Viral Video Stuns Social Media
Kalyan, 13th June 2023: A shocking incident unfolded near Kalyan Railway Station when a young man defiantly sat on the tracks, disregarding the approaching train and refusing to move.
Even after repeated warnings from the motorman, he stubbornly declared, “Yeh Mera Ilaaka Hai…mai kahi bhi baith sakta hu” (This is my territory, I can sit wherever I want). The incident, captured on video, has since gone viral on social media.
The commotion occurred on Monday morning around 8:50 am, causing disruption at Kalyan railway station. As a local train destined for Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus was departing from Kalyan, the motorman spotted the young man sitting on the tracks. Despite sounding the horn, the individual showed no intention of moving.
Witnesses at the station and passengers on the train pleaded with the young man to vacate the tracks, but he persisted, asserting his territorial claim. Realizing the severity of the situation, the motorman halted the local train and personally intervened to remove the young man from harm’s way. The station master was promptly informed, and the Railway Protection Force (RPF) took the young man into custody.
Following the incident, there was a temporary disruption in local train services. The viral video caught the attention of social media users, and the Railway Police has launched an investigation into the matter. Preliminary findings suggest that the youth was under the influence of alcohol and may be experiencing mental health issues.
