Thane: Kasarwadvali Police Arrest Fugitive Offender From Dongripada Area
Thane, 20th July 2023: The Kasarwadvali Police team successfully apprehended the accused who violated an injunction order. The individual, identified as Kiran Achyut Bhure alias Bala (21), a resident of Dombivli Kolegaon, was taken into custody on July 17 at approximately 2 p.m. after being found wandering in the Dongripada area on Ghodbunder Road in Thane.
The injunction order, issued on February 13, 2023, dictated that Bala was to be deported from the revenue limits of Mumbai suburbs and Thane district for a period of two years. However, in clear defiance of the court order, the accused was discovered within the restricted region by the Kasarwadvali police team.
Taking strict action, the Kasarwadvali police immediately detained Kiran Achyut Bhure and subsequently filed a case against him under Section 142 of the Maharashtra Police Act. The section deals with violations of injunction orders and prescribes appropriate penalties to deter such offences.
