Mumbai: Bollywood Actor Vivek Oberoi Files Fraud Complaint Against Producers and Others
Mumbai, 21st July 2023: Actor Vivek Oberoi has lodged a complaint with the MIDC police in Andheri, alleging that he has been a victim of fraud amounting to Rs 1.5 crore by his partners in film producing company Anandita Entertainment LLP.
The complaint was filed on Wednesday against producer Sanjay Saha, Nandita Saha, Radhika Nanda, and several other individuals. The allegations center around their involvement in the case of defrauding Oberoi of his hard-earned money.
The complaint was brought forward by Deven Jawaharlal Bafna (57), a Chartered Accountant affiliated with Oberoi Mega Entertainment. As per the complaint, Oberoi Organic LLP was officially established on 24th February 2017, with Vivek Oberoi and his wife Priyanka being listed as partners in the company.
The details of the alleged fraud have not been disclosed yet, but it appears that Vivek Oberoi suspects irregularities in financial matters involving Sanjay Saha, Nandita Saha, Radhika Nanda, and other accused individuals.
The MIDC police have initiated an investigation into the matter, and the accused will be questioned to ascertain the veracity of the claims made by Vivek Oberoi. The police will also examine the financial records and transactions related to Oberoi Organic LLP to determine if any fraudulent activities indeed occurred.
