Mumbai: Famous TV Actor Karan Hukku Faces Allegations Of Fraud In Selling Fake Luxury Watch To Producer
Oshiwara, 4th August 2023: The 53-year-old TV actor, Karan Hukku, has found himself at the centre of controversy as a case of alleged cheating has been registered against him at Azad Maidan police station. The actor has been charged with the allegations of selling a fake watch to a producer for Rs 7 lakh.
Karan Hukku, known for his remarkable performances in popular TV serials such as “Kasam Se” and “Kahe Na Kahe,” has also featured in some Bollywood movies.
According to the police, actor Karan and producer Mohammad Salim Abdul Quddoos Farooqui have known each other for the past 7 years. However, the actor allegedly sold a watch, claiming it to be a branded piece, to the said producer for a substantial sum of Rs. 7 lakh.
However, when the producer decided to sell the watch, he discovered that it was a counterfeit product. Realising that he had fallen victim to fraud, the producer promptly lodged a complaint with the authorities at Azad Maidan police station.
After conducting an initial inquiry into the matter, the police registered a case against actor Karan Hukku in connection with the alleged fraud. However, Karan Hukku has remained silent on the matter and has not yet given any reaction.
