Mumbai: Venomous Cobra Found From Former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s Residence In Bandra

Bandra, 7th August 2023: In a dramatic incident on Sunday afternoon, a venomous cobra snake was discovered within the premises of former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s Matoshree bungalow in Kalanagar Bandra East. After receiving information about the presence of a snake, a professional snake catcher was called, and the snake was caught and released into the forest. On this occasion, Uddhav Thackeray thanked the snake catcher.
At around 2 p.m. on Sunday, security officials at the Matoshree bungalow reported the presence of a snake within the premises of the bungalow, triggering an immediate response from the authorities. Afterwards, they immediately called the Wild Life Animal Protection and Rescue Association, seeking the assistance of a professional snake catcher.
Immediately, The local snake catcher, Atul Kamble, arrived at the scene. Upon arriving at the bungalow, Atul Kamble spotted the snake concealed behind a water tank. He confirmed that it was a venomous snake of the cobra type, and its length was approximately 4 feet.
After successfully capturing the snake, Kamble released it in the forest as per the guidelines of the forest department. Roshan Shinde, the officer of the control room of the Thane Forest Department, has given information about this.
In the aftermath of the rescue, former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray extended his gratitude to the Kamble for his prompt response.
