Mumbai: Young Woman Lost Her Life After Her Scarf Entrapped In Two-Wheeler
Kandivali, 22nd August 2023: A 27-year-old woman lost her life due to a tragic accident involving her scarf getting entrapped in a two-wheeler. The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday evening at the Bapane bridge on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway. The victim has been identified as Pratibha Yadav.
The resident of Iraniwadi in Kandivali, Pratibha Yadav, and her husband, Manish Yadav (33), went to the Tungareshwar temple in Vasai on Sunday. As the couple was returning from their journey towards their house, the tragedy happened.
When a couple was passing from the Vasai Bapane area on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad highway, the scarf that Pratibha was wearing around her neck became caught in the back wheel of the motorcycle. The force of the entanglement was so severe that it caused her to be pulled off the bike, resulting in severe head injuries.
After the accident, the lady was quickly rushed to the hospital for medical assistance; however, she was declared dead by doctors upon her arrival.
Law enforcement officials have conjectured that the scarf becoming entangled in the bike’s wheel could have caused Pratibha to lose balance and fall from the bike, ultimately resulting in her death in the incident.
