Thane: Fire Erupts In Ganantra Industrial Estate, Balaji Agency Office Devastated

Khopat, 31st October 2023: A blaze tore through the first-floor office of Balaji Agency located in the Ganantra Industrial Estate in Khopat this Saturday. The disaster management room reported extensive damage, with several valuable assets gutted in the flames, including four computers, an AC unit, an oven, chairs, paper files, wooden cupboards, and electrical wiring.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the office is owned by Pranay Gandhi, and Dharmesh Sampat is running it. The fire broke out, prompting a swift response from emergency teams. Mahavitran staff, disaster management cell personnel, and firefighters rushed to the scene, successfully bringing the fire under control. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of this incident, as confirmed by the Disaster Management Unit.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation, and officials are assessing the extent of the damages incurred.
