Mumbai Police Swiftly Apprehend Thieves, Recover Rs 4.03 Crore Looted from KDM Enterprises

Mumbai, 12th December 2023: In a remarkable display of efficiency, the Mumbai Police successfully solved a major heist within just thirty hours of its occurrence. A gang of thieves had brazenly looted Rs 4.03 crore from the office of KDM Enterprises located in the Aditya Heights Building in Kalbadevi, on December 10. The swift police response resulted in the arrest of all the culprits, who were apprehended in Gujarat.
On the fateful day, the thieves executed a meticulously planned theft at the Aditya Heights building. Breaking into the office of KDM Enterprises, they restrained two individuals and made away with the substantial sum of Rs 4.03 crore.
As soon as the Lokmanya Tilak (LT) Road Police Station received information about the crime, dedicated police officers initiated a rigorous investigation. Collaborating with informants, teams from various police stations within Circle 2, including LT Road Police Station, Pydhonie Police Station, and VP Road Police Station, were formed to track down the perpetrators. Realizing that the suspects had fled to Gujarat with the stolen cash, police teams swiftly mobilized to the neighbouring state.
The relentless efforts of the police culminated in the detention of six suspects in Gujarat, and the recovery of the entire looted amount of Rs 4.03 crore. The arrested individuals have been identified as Harshad Thakur (26), Rajuba Vaghela (21), Ashokbha Vaghela (26), Charanbha Vaghela (26), Mehul Singh Dhabi (24), and Chirag Thakur (26).
A case has been registered against the accused under sections 454 (Lurking house-trespass or house-breaking to commit an offence punishable with imprisonment), 392 (Robbery), 341 (Punishment for wrongful restraint), and 34 (Acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention) of the IPC. The successful resolution of this case reflects the Mumbai Police’s commitment to maintaining law and order and swiftly bringing criminals to justice.
