Cakeology 2024: Prachi Dhabal Deb, World Record Cake Artist, Takes Center Stage as Head Judge

Mumbai, 26th December 2023: Cakeology, India’s beloved cake extravaganza, is set to enchant dessert enthusiasts once again as it returns to Bengaluru from January 19th to 21st, 2024. What adds an extra layer of sweetness to this upcoming edition is the announcement of Pune-based Prachi Dhabal Deb as the Head Judge, alongside Rhianydd Webb from the United Kingdom. Prachi will not only grace the Bengaluru show but will also lead the judging panel for events in Mumbai and other cities.

Originally from Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, Prachi’s educational journey took her from Dehradun, Uttarakhand, where she completed her schooling, to Kolkata for her college education.

Beyond her judging duties, Prachi’s prowess in cake decoration has earned her three world records certified by the World Book of Records, London. These records include a remarkable 100 kg cake structure inspired by the Milan Cathedral, a feat for the maximum number of vegan royal icing structures, and an awe-inspiring 200 kg edible structure of an Indian-inspired palace created with vegan royal icing.

A maestro not only in the world of cakes but also in promoting a vegan lifestyle, Prachi, currently residing in Rahatani, Pimpri Chinchwad, Pune, is a true ambassador of creativity and innovation in the culinary arts.
