Bigg Boss OTT 2 Winner Elvish Yadav Summoned by Gurugram Police Following Altercation with YouTuber Maxtern

New Delhi, 10th March 2024: Bigg Boss OTT 2 winner Elvish Yadav has recently come under intense media scrutiny following a viral video capturing an altercation between him and fellow YouTuber Sagar Thakur, known as Maxtern. Sagar Thakur subsequently filed an FIR, prompting the Gurugram police to summon Elvish for interrogation.

This isn’t the first time Elvish has made headlines for his behaviour. Just days prior, he gained attention for slapping a stranger at a restaurant. The video of Elvish assaulting Sagar, also known as Maxtern, circulated widely on social media, leading Sagar to disclose on X (formerly Twitter) that he had lodged an FIR against Elvish with the Gurugram Police.

Despite Sagar’s claims that the police were not taking sufficient action, the latest update from India Today reveals that the Gurugram Police has issued a notice for Elvish Yadav, mandating his presence for interrogation on Tuesday. The notice, issued on Saturday, March 9, 2024, falls under section 41A (notice of appearance before police) of the Criminal Procedure Code.

The case against Elvish and several others, involving the physical assault on Sagar Thakur, has been registered, as confirmed by ACP Sadar Kapil Ahlawat. The incident originated from an ongoing online debate between Elvish and Sagar, with Elvish’s tweet on March 7, 2024, indicating a desire to remind Sagar of his location in Delhi.

Sagar, responding to the online exchange, travelled to Gurgaon and shared details of his conversation with Elvish on social media. In a video, Sagar recounted the alleged assault, expressing concerns about a potential spinal cord injury. Elvish, on the other hand, shared his perspective on Instagram, emphasizing the importance of considering both sides of the story before passing judgment.
