Chhaava’s News Records, Piles Up Baahubali 2

Mumbai, 26th February 2025: Chhaava, the box office dominant film is making massive history with huge support from the audience. The film Chhaava is ruling the box office these days. Even after the second weekend has passed, Vicky Kaushal starrer is not taking the name of stopping the spectacular earnings of this movie. On the second Tuesday, Chhaava again presented its strong claim at the domestic box office.
After breaking the record of earnings of Bollywood films in the past, Chhaava has now fallen behind South Movies. Based on this, in terms of collection on the 12th day, Chhaava has shattered the record of Prabhas starrer film Bahubali.
In 2017, South cinema veteran director SS Rajamouli’s film Bahubali 2 was released on the big screen. Prabhas, Anushka Shetty, and Rana Daggubati starrer this movie did a lot of business at the box office. The film made a box office number of 15 crores on the 12th day and now Chhaava has overshadowed its record by 2 crores more as the 12th day collection of Chhaava is 17 crores straight up on a single day.
Vicky Kaushal as the king of the Maratha Empire Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is already giving goosebumps to the audience with the dialogue delivery and heart-wrenching scenes, with co-cast Rashmika Mandanna in the role of his wife Yesubai and Akshaye Khanna as Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb. Based on the Marathi novel Chhava by Shivaji Sawant, the historic action blockbuster is a masterpiece and AR Rahman’s music with Laxman Utekar as a director, cinematography by Saurabh Goswami, and edited by Manish Pradhan with Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna as leads with Akshaye Khanna, Diana Plenty, Neil Bhoopalam, Ashutosh Rana, and Divya Dutta this is truly ruling the cinemas right now.
Earlier, Chhaava beat many big films like Pushpa 2, Jawan, and Animal at the box office in terms of earnings in terms of days. Every day the epic roarer set up new records and has crossed 370 crores in its box office collection.
